Support to the Special Advocacy Corps (SAC) of the Special Criminal Court (SCC)

  • Objective:
    • To contribute to the strenghtening of the capacity and skills of the Special Advocates Corps (SAC) to ensure good administration of justice and good governance within the SPC.
  • Project summary
    • The project aims to provide support to the strengthening of the skills and capacities of the Special Advocates Corps (SAC), i) at the institutional level, as a body playing a role in the good governance of the SPC; ii) and at the individual level, for the benefit of the lawyers, who are primarily responsible for the good representation of the parties during the proceedings.
  • Expected results: The practices of lawyers are strengthened in order to fully assume their roles in the management of cases of serious human rights violations, in accordance with international standards.
  • The Special Advocates Corps is mobilised to ensure the proper functioning and governance of the SPC.
