Strengthening Tunisian civil society action to defend human rights in counter-terrorism context

  • Objective: to implement comprehensive and structural reforms to combat terrorism, which particularly affects the youth.
  • There are three axes to the project’s activities:
    • First axis: A1.1: Conducting a perception survey among Tunisian citizens on human rights and counter terrorism issues A1.2: Design and development of an opinion campaign
    • Second axis: A2.1 : Organisation of workshops in collaboration with la Commission Nationale de Lutte Contre le Terrorisme A2.2: Organisation of a parliamentary conference A2.3: Elaboration of a study on the links between violent extremism and transitional justice
    • Third axis: A3.1: Organisation of two capacity building sessions for ASL members A3.2: Organisation of a strategic retreat A3.3: Organisation of a European advocacy tour A3.4: Elaboration of a feasibility study for an observatory of police violence
