About the Project
The project aims to contribute to the fight against structural racism by
deconstructing hate speech online and on social media, through an educational
and technological approach. Strengthen the capacity of young people and
racialized communities to analyze, challenge, and prevent hate speech online, and promote inclusive and rights-based public discourse.
Activities
- An educational platform and multimedia content on the historical/contemporary links between hate speech
- Teaching modules and educational kits for teachers and facilitators
- Training courses (workshops, MOOCs) in schools and youth organizations
- An interactive app for analyzing and reporting hateful content
- Launch of the #NoHateChallenge campaign and a Counter-Speech contest
- Online public debates and in-person events
