  • General objective: To improve justice and the rule of law in the Central African Republic by strengthening access to law and justice, as well as the legal aid process
  • Specific objective:
    • Reduction of abusive practices, irregular detentions, and criminality
    • Improvement of public confidence in the justice system
  • Expected results:
    • The legal aid process is improved in the areas covered by the Central African Republic’s courts of appeal.
    • Local justice and community-based conflict resolution methods are strengthened in the areas covered by the three courts of appeal.

  • Budget 4,000,000 EUR
  • Duration: 48 months (July 2025 – July 2029)
