About the Project
The project aims to increase the individual and collective capacity of
young men and their families, who are directly affected by discriminatory
police practices, to defend themselves against these practices, highlight
their discriminatory nature, and contribute to putting an end to them.
Activities
- A resource kit to strengthen collective self-defense against discriminatory practices
- Workshops on rights awareness using participatory and peer-learning methodologies
- Training of paralegals to effectively support people in challenging these illegal practices
- Collaborative legal self-defense workshops to develop defense strategies
- Community of practice for paralegals and community activists in the field
- Collaborative documentation of discriminatory practices
- Ongoing participatory evaluation, both immediate and long-term.
