About the Project
The project aims to raise awareness among young people in Belgium,
as well as their supervisors, about the issues of racism and discrimination, by
providing them with concrete tools to identify, understand, and combat them.
Through an interactive and participatory educational approach, the project
offers a series of courses on racism in Belgium and Europe, the co-creation of
an educational tool with young people of color to deconstruct stereotypes and
prejudices, and the active involvement of young people at all stages of the
project. The aim is to strengthen their critical thinking, civic engagement, and
ability to act in favor of a more just and inclusive society.
Activities
- An educational tool on racism and discrimination (educational cards) co-created with young people of color
- 7 thematic lessons (structural racism, colonialism, North/South relations, etc.) and video clips
