Justice ExPEERience celebrated its 3rd anniversary this summer! To mark the occasion, the network’s coordination team is proud to present the Justice ExPEERience annual report.

Justice ExPEERience was launched three years ago by ASF. This international network is equipped with a collaborative and secure online platform, dedicated to the circulation of knowledge, the sharing of expertise and the setting up of impactful collective actions.

Justice ExPEERience now has over 800 members in 55 countries, working for human rights, access to justice and social justice. The network has organised 14 ExPEERience Talks webinars on crucial subjects such as preventive detention in Uganda and authoritarian drift in Tunisia, among others.

Members can share their knowledge and their experience and expertise, as well as working together in coalitions or communities of practice on practical proejcts to monitor human rights violations, strategic litigation, or advocacy work.

This year, Justice ExPEERience launched a new tool: The ExPEERience Map, an interactice online map project. The aime is to visualise the human rights violations documented by the Justice ExPEERiene communities of practice as part of their research and monitoring activities. The first map available concerns discrimination in Tunisia.

Among the new features, Justice ExPEERience has a new website. From now on, all the content linked to the platform and the products and knowledge shared on the network will be centralised on the site. In particular, you will be able to find replays of webinars, the ExPEERience Map and news analyses sent to members via the monthly newsletter The Justice ExPEERience Letter.

The third year of Justice ExPEERience has therefore been marked by an expansion of activities, an enrichment of exchanges between members and a strengthening of the resources and functionalities available.

In order to make further progress, ASF has launched an external evaluation of the platform and the project. This exercise will enable us to draw lessons from these first years of existence, assess the network’s impact and lay the foundations for strategic development in 2025.
