Protection of migrants in Tunisia and access to fundamental rights (ProMiTAD)

  • Objectives:
    • To strengthen capacities and cooperation between all the actors concerned, in order to ensure better accessibility and care at local level for migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and Tunisians in highly vulnerable situations;
    • To strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations and public institutions to improve access to basic services and the integration of migrants.
  • Activities:
    • Design of an awareness-raising and information campaign for migrants and Tunisians in situations of vulnerability and exclusion;
    • Establishment of an integrated multi-sectoral care mechanism for migrants;
    • Development and implementation of a capacity building action plan for relevant actors (associations, public and community at local level);
    • Organisation of in-service technical training sessions in the care services (public and CSOs);
    • Setting up and running a framework for capitalisation and exchange between the stakeholders concerned with a view to developing a referencing mechanism;
    • Development of an advocacy strategy and targeted thematic positioning papers;
    • Cycle of thematic workshops and coordination meetings between implementing partners, public actors and political and economic decision-makers;
    • Conference co-organised with stakeholders in migration policies and protection of migrants;
    • Design and launch of the call for proposals and award of grants to CSOs (Financial support to third parties);
    • Development and implementation of a training and coaching plan for beneficiary CSOs;
